At Tattel, we understand the challenges international students face when seeking work experience in the UK. Our Internship Program bridges the gap between talented international students and UK employers, providing students with valuable UK work experience and offering employers access to a diverse pool of skilled candidates.

TATTEL’s Work Experience Programme (TWEP) connects UK-based startups and companies with talented international students for short-term project opportunities. These projects provide invaluable UK work experience to international students while giving companies access to enthusiastic and skilled individuals who can support their ongoing work.

How it Works

For Companies

  • Companies list short-term projects (2–8 weeks) on the TATTEL platform.
  • Projects may be paid or unpaid, but must:
    • Be meaningful (not admin-only roles)
    • Involve supervision and communication
    • End with a reference letter for the student
  • Companies gain access to a pre-screened talent pool from top UK universities.

For International Students

  • Students sign up on the TATTEL platform and complete a short application form.
  • Students can view and apply for listed projects based on interest and skills.
  • Selected students gain:
    • UK-based work experience
    • A reference letter
    • Opportunities to build networks and portfolios
    • Support from the TATTEL Employability Team during the programme
